MASTER IN SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS
This program is designed to develop future-ready professionals who can lead and innovate in sustainability practices, policy development, and green technology integration. Students will explore topics such as life cycle assessment, green economy, industrial ecology, and sustainability management and policy, while building critical skills in research, analysis, digital solutions, and collaborative problem-solving. Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and expertise to address global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and excel in sustainability-focused careers across industry, government, and research sectors.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in science, technology, or engineering or its equivalent,
recognized by the University Senate.; and - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least a CGPA of 2.50; or
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent but does not achieve at least a CGPA of 2.50;
must have five (5 years) work experience in a relevant field

ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
International students who wish to enroll in the postgraduate programs at UTM must meet the English language competency requirements as stipulated below:
- Malaysia University Entrance Test (MUET) with a minimum score of Band 4.0 and above; or
- IELTS with a minimum score of Band 6.0 and above; or
- TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 60 and above; or
- Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE), with a minimum score of 169 and above; or
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with a minimum score of 59 and above; or
- Certified Intensive English Programme Level (CIEP Level) achieving Level 109 and above.
