Master of Education (Educational Technology) is specially designed leading to the degree of Master and Doctor of Philosophy in various areas of education to cater for teaching or training professionals who are seeking in-depth knowledge, research skills, careers advancement and provide professional leadership in the specialized fields of education.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or its equivalent recognized by the University Senate; and
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least a CGPA of 2.50; or
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent but does not achieve at least a CGPA of 2.50; must have five (5 years) work experience in a relevant field
- Candidates without professional qualifications may be considered into the programme but must complete one additional course during first semester of the programme:

ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
International students who wish to enroll in the postgraduate programs at UTM must meet the English language competency requirements as stipulated below:
- Malaysia University Entrance Test (MUET) with a minimum score of Band 4.0 and above; or
- IELTS with a minimum score of Band 6.0 and above; or
- TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 60 and above; or
- Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE), with a minimum score of 169 and above; or
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with a minimum score of 59 and above; or
- Certified Intensive English Programme Level (CIEP Level) achieving Level 109 and above.
