MASTER OF LANGUAGE IN COMMUNICATION AND DIGITAL CULTURE

Master of Language in Communication and Digital Culture is a Master’s programme which focuses on the study of language in communication with an emphasis on the elements of digital culture.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME

3-8 Semesters

  • CGPA ≥ 3.0 for the Bachelor Degree in Language and Communication or related field from UTM or any other recognized university by Malaysia ; or
  • CGPA < 3.0 for the bachelor degree with 2 years of working experience in related fields and recognized by University Senate.
International students who wish to enroll in the postgraduate programs at UTM must meet the English language competency requirements as stipulated below:

  • Malaysia University Entrance Test (MUET) with a minimum score of Band 4.0 and above; or
  • IELTS with a minimum score of Band 6.0 and above; or
  • TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 60 and above; or
  • Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE), with a minimum score of 168 and above; or
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with a minimum score of 59 and above; or
  • Certified Intensive English Programme Level (CIEP Level) achieving Level 109 and above.
